Accompanying guests are welcome to join conference delegates at our social events:
the Opening Night Buffet Reception on Wednesday evening, the tour and Cocktails and Dinner on Thursday. Unfortunately
they cannot attend the conference itself.
Opening Night Reception Buffet - Wednesday 9th May - Museum of Ethnography - 19:30 - 22:30
Hay Group is pleased to welcome conference delegates and their guests at the Ethnographic Museum. This imposing building, built
in the late 19th century, is located in front of the Houses of Parliament and is at 15 minute walk from our selected hotels.
To and from our preferred hotels bus transfers will be provided.
Tour of Budapest - Thursday 10th May - 09:15 – 16.30
For our delegate’s guests we offer a guided sightseeing tour of Budapest which will pick up from our recommended hotels. The tour will take in the highlights
of the capital: the Hero’s square, the Opera House, St. Stephen Basilica, the Houses of Parliament and the beautiful avenues lined with important buildings
in the Pest side of the city. It will include an hour’s trip through the narrow streets of the Jewish ghetto and then will cross the Chain Bridge, heading
towards Buda with its beautiful Castle district and the Fisherman’s bastions overlooking the Danube and Margarita Island. The tours will set off at 9:15 am
and return at 4:30 pm. A snack lunch will be provided. The tour will be available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. To reserve a space on a

Cocktails & Dinner - Thursday 10th May - Museum of Fine Arts, HeroSquare – 19:30
The museum was built in the early 20th century and hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions from Classic Antiques to 19th century paintings and sculptures in
addition to Hungarian and Austrian masterpieces as well as early Dutch and Spanish paintings of the 16th and 17th centuries.
To and from our preferred hotels bus transfers will be provided.
