Conference

Q1: Plenary sessions will be translated in French, German, Italian, Spanish and Russian. Will workshops be translated as well?
A1: Not all workshops will be translated, just workshop 1 on Thursday and workshop 4 on Friday.
Q2: Where do I pick up my welcome package and badge(s)?
A2: You can pick up your welcome package and badge(s) at the registration desk in the Valencia Conference center, which is open from Wednesday 13 May from 2pm onwards and throughout the conference.

Q3: Can the invoice covering participation fees be issued in local currency (e.g., pounds, dollars, rubles, etc.)?
A3: The invoice can only be issued in Euros as we need to charge Spanish VAT. The amount in local currency will be mentioned in brackets at client's request.

Q4: What is the dress code for the Social Events?

The welcome reception is informal and dress code is business wear.
Cocktails & Dinner (Thurs. evening) » view details
Due to the different international rules and traditions concerning proper attire, Hay Group does not set a rule. Ladies may wear both an evening dress or a cocktail dress. Gentlemen may wear black tie, a dark suit or jacket and tie.
Q5: Can we bring children to the tour and social events?
A5: Our conference has been designed for adult participation and to provide an opportunity for delegates to network. We would therefore please request that delegates not to bring children under the age of 16 to any of the social events or to the accompanying guest tour. Our agency, Eventisimo in Valencia, together with the hotel concierges will be happy to provide a baby sitting service as required. Your co-operation would be greatly appreciated.

Q6: How long is the taxi ride to and from the airport and how much does it cost?
A6: The taxi ride takes 15-20 minutes costs vary between 15-20 Euro.
Q7: How long does it take to get to the Old City from the conference center?
A7: It takes 15 minutes and the fare is 10 Euro approx.
Q8: What is the currency in Spain?
A8: Spanish currency is the Euro.
You can change your money at the airport, use your credit card or get money from the teller machine.
